"I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and
in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to
abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:12-13

Everyone experiences tension or pressure. At least two-thirds of all
medical visits are for stress-related illnesses. The best way to manage
stress is to nourish faith in our loving God. In His love, God did not
spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all. This is living proof that
He really cares for us.
As we let God's principles guide us, we learn to give thanks in all
circumstances and to put the best construction on what others say and do
n our lives. It is better to show forgiving love and understanding about
a broken window, burnt toast, or a dented fender, than to explode with
anger.
Let us develop a strong relationship with family, friends, co-workers,
and neighbors. God uses them to give support. We can relieve stress by
taking control of our time and turning to God. We may leave a little
earlier to be on time for an appointment, for example. And if we expect
a long wait, take along some inspirational reading. Practicing our faith
and using common sense help us to deal with stress.
God bless you as you use the Lord for your strength in everything you
do. You can do all things through Him who strengthens you!
