| "Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:14-15 The world in which we live is quickly approaching a time of divine judgment ~ a time when the Lord will make that ultimate pronouncement of blessing upon those who have stood with Him, and of condemnation upon those who have stood against Him. As the age-old spiritual battle between good and evil draws ever closer to its preordained climax, it becomes essential that the soldiers of Christ display their banner and declare their loyalty. The world must know whose side we are on! Joshua was not a spiritual "fence-rider" in the battle for eternal life. He publicly declared his loyalty to the Lord. Like Joshua, we today must let the world know whose side we are on. The world about us is promoting tolerance to things which we know in our minds and hearts are not God's plan of action ~ things we know that are wrong! One example is the slaughter of unborn babies. The world promotes and actually legalizes abortions today. We are in this world of corruption ~ but we do NOT have to be of it! Some things are simply much too important, much too vital to the survival of our godly heritage, not to take a stand! The soldiers of Christ must arise, put on their armor, and fight for Truth! Now, soldiers of Christ, it is time for us to stand bravely before the enemy and declare our loyalty in a loud, clear voice! After all, we' ARE on the winning side!
