Blue can either make the offensive 11-point or the defensive 22-point. Leaving the back men splitted give Blue more shots at White's outer-board. However, while the 11-point is nice, it may only be temporary because 4-1, 6-1 or 6-3 will force Blue to break that point in order to make a better point.
On the other hand, the 22-point is quite permanent. The 22-point anchor guards against a sudden blitz, which is quite possible since White has the stronger board.
