The argument for running with 24/15 is that it minimizes the shots.
Hitting strips Red's 8-point and all 6's go to vulnerable places, but it looks necessary to me that Red should fight for his 5-point.
The play with the 6 might be close. Generally, I would follow the rule of "don't give your opponent a good 6 from the bar", but both 24/18 and 13/7 leave White a good 6.
My preference is 13/7, since 24/18 starts a better anchor, but it is not the best anchor for Red and "offense before defense" approach looks consistent with the position because the game will be likely to be played on Red's side of the board for a turn or two.
As for the score-based play, I like 13/7 8/5* for Money and at all scores except GS where I would play 24/15.
24/18 8/5* is my second choice for Money and at all scores except GS where my second choice is 13/4.
