7/2(2) is probably a bit better for the blitz, since it will be easier for Red's outfield checkers to reach the 3-point than the 2-point.
Also, the 8-point leaves Red a bit more flexibility than the bar-point.

On the other hand, if the blitz fails and White gets an anchor (assuming Red sends back White's blot on the 10-point in the process), then the "3-bar" structure will be better than the "2-8" since the 3-point isn't as deep and "3-bar" structure will provide
a more compact position than the "2-8".
