White will pass after the sequence of 6-2 by Red followed by White's 6-5.
For 3-3, I would switch to the ace-point and play 13/10 24/21.

This looks like a solid cube to me. You've got ten ways to pick up a second checker and few more ways to make your
5-point. You can hit on the ace-point with 5's and strengthen your threats on other rolls. If things go your way, you are looking at a lot of gammons, which are very valuable with the cube at 2.
Meanwhile, White will have trouble turning things around and it will be hard for him to use the cube against you.

This resulted in a more clear double than I had expected. Fortunately, I cubed this and avoided the Whopper.
I was all smiles when I rolled the awesome 6-6 after he took, but that smile vanished instantly when he entered both with 3-3 and I later lost the game.
With me being better than a 5-4 game favorite and winning nearly 30% gammons and nearly 3% backgammons this is a good time to cube at this score.
