Romans 11:14-16 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what will the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
What does the Bible say about Gentiles? They are not part of Israel. They are a separate sheepfold. (The two-house theory is false. Gentiles are not of Ephraim or any other tribe. This is similar to British-Israelism and borders on replacement theology. Ephraim is still Ephraim.
Yochanan (John)10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one fold, and one shepherd.
We are grafted in. Gentiles are called wild branches.
What does it mean to be grafted in? The passage below discusses this.
Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
The olive tree represents the blessings promised to Avraham's seed. Though Gentiles do not, by faith in Yeshua, inherit Israel's particular promises, (this would be replacement theology) they do receive the blessings promised to "all families of the earth"
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless the, and curse him that curse the: and in the will ALL FAMILY'S of the earth be blessed.
Galatians 3:6-9 Even as Avraham believed G-d, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know you therefore that they which are of faith (trusting-obedience), the same are the children of Avraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that G-d would justify the heathen through faith (trusting-obedience), preached before the good News to Avraham, saying, in you ALL nations will be blessed. So then they which be of faith (trusting-obedience) are blessed with faithful (trusting) Avraham.
Romans 11:18-26 do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in." Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; for if G-d did not spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you. Behold then the kindness and severity of G-d; to those who fell, severity, but to you, G-d's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in; for G-d is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
It states the blindness was IN PART. So lightness is happening in part.
How can one be grafted in?
Pray to G-d and acknowledge that: Yeshua is the promised Messiah. Yeshua was the perfect unblemished lamb. That He made atonement for your sins because you have broken the law. Confess your sins and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and to come into your heart and life.
That is all you need to do. It is faith and repentance. Nothing else.
There must be a time and a place that we all both Jew (Natural branches) must be grafted back in and Gentile (Wild Branches) must be grafted in. If one has not then that one is not redeemed. (Jew or Gentile)
Yeshua (Jesus) said, wide is the path that leads to destruction, narrow is the path that leads to life.
Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:13-14 You enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it.
G-d is awesome in His plan and ways of wisdom. There is nothing we can give back for His mercy given to us. We can only accept with humility in who He is and for what He has done. Baruch HaShem! (Praise His name!)
The branches that were broken off are unbelieving Jewish people. These are Jewish people who have not accepted Yeshua as their Messiah.
The wild olive branches that are grafted in are Gentiles who have accepted Yeshua as their Messiah. They are told that they should not boast because they have been grafted in. After all G-d did not spare the natural branches (Jewish people) who did not accept Yeshua as their Messiah. He cut them off. He will not spare the Gentile either that has not accepted Him. Notice it is said that he can graft them (the Jewish person) back in again. "How much more will these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?"
Romans 11:26-32 and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "The Deliverer will come from Tziyon (Zion), He will remove unG-dliness from Ya'akov (Jacob)." "And this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins." From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of G-d's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of G-d are irrevocable. For just as you once were disobedient to G-d, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so these also now have been disobedient, in order that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. For G-d has shut up all in disobedience that He might show mercy to all.
Some of the Jewish People had become the enemies of the good news for the Gentiles sake so the Gentiles could hear the good news. They are still beloved for the sake of their fathers. G-d will show mercy to the Jewish People also by revealing His Son to them. We were all disobedient and we all need His mercy. All of Israel that are still alive when He returns will look on him and His wounds and come to him.
All believers are not to be arrogant because of G-d mercy to us for it is because of their unbelief that the Good news (Basar) about the Messiah came to all believers. If only some Gentile Christians would listen to Paul's warnings. If only people only wearing the label "Christian" had all been real.
Romans 11:33-36 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of G-d! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the L-rd, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
Do not say G-d's message is not for today.
John 4:35-36 "Do you not say, `Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together."
