John Chapter 4 (Continued)

John 4:43-45 Now after two days he departed from there, and went into Galilee. For Yeshua (Jesus) Himself testified, that a prophet has no honor in his own country. Then when He was come into Galilee, the Galileans received Him, having seen all the things that He did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went to the feast.

He observed the feasts.

John 4:46-54 Once more He visited Cana in Galilee, where He had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. When this man heard that Yeshua (Jesus) had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to Him and begged Him to come and heal his son, who was close to death. "Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders," Yeshua (Jesus) told him, "you will never believe." The royal official said, "Sir, come down before my child dies." Yeshua (Jesus) replied, "You may go. Your son will live." The man took Yeshua (Jesus) at His word and departed. While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, "The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour." Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Yeshua (Jesus) had said to him, "Your son will live." So he and his entire household believed. This was the second miraculous sign that Yeshua (Jesus) performed, having come from Judea to Galilee.

Again they where concerned with signs and not the Son of G-d. They wanted another sign. As a result they believed.

Do we care about more about signs and wonders than G-d? Do we care more about being entertained then knowing G-d? Do we consider G-d as a genie in a bottle? When we pray, sometimes G-d says NOSometimes He says wait. In any event He knows whats good for us and sometimes we do not. So thank G-d sometimes He does not grant our desires. Dont we have children whom are very nice to us when they want something? Dont let our relationship with G-d be like this. We should have a close relationship with G-d at all times so when hard times come our relationship is solid, not superficial.

This was Yeshuas second sign in Galilee.

Also beware of false prophets whom perform miracles, false signs, and wonders:

Mark 13:22-23 For false Messiahs (Christs) and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
