B'resheet 44:18-34 Then Y'hudah approached him, and said, "Oh my lord, may your servant please speak a word in my lord's ears, and do not be angry with your servant; for you are equal to Pharaoh. My lord asked his servants, saying, 'Have you a father or a brother?' "And we said to my lord, 'We have an old father and a little child of his old age. Now his brother is dead, so he alone is left of his mother, and his father loves him.' "Then you said to your servants, 'Bring him down to me, that I may set my eyes on him.' "But we said to my lord, 'The lad cannot leave his father, for if he should leave his father, his father would die.' "You said to your servants, however, 'Unless your youngest brother comes down with you, you shall not see my face again.' "Thus it came about when we went up to your servant my father, we told him the words of my lord. And our father said, 'Go back, buy us a little food.' "But we said, 'We cannot go down. If our youngest brother is with us, then we will go down; for we cannot see the man's face unless our youngest brother is with us.' "And your servant my father said to us, 'You know that my wife bore me two sons; and the one went out from me, and I said, "Surely he is torn in pieces," and I have not seen him since. 'And if you take this one also from me, and harm befalls him, you will bring my gray hair down to Sheol in sorrow.' "Now, therefore, when I come to your servant my father, and the lad is not with us, since his life is bound up in the lad's life, it will come about when he sees that the lad is not with us, that he will die. Thus your servants will bring the gray hair of your servant our father down to Sheol in sorrow. For your servant became surety for the lad to my father, saying, 'If I do not bring him back to you, then let me bear the blame before my father forever.' "Now, therefore, please let your servant remain instead of the lad a slave to my lord, and let the lad go up with his brothers. For how shall I go up to my father if the lad is not with me, lest I see the evil that would overtake my father?"
Y'hudah finally came out with the whole truth. Y'hudah also offers himself as a substitute in place of Benjamin. Here is a picture of Yeshua HaMashiach. The Messiah from the line of Y'hudah would substitute himself for all of us eternally. All we have to do is trust and ask. Yosef's brothers certainly have changed from their past. The same will be said of Israel when the Messiah returns to rule. They will no longer doubt and not laugh at the possibility.
The corresponding letter to this chapter is Tahv -truth; perfection
Will Yeshua really rule over Israel? Yes, He has; Yes, He does; and Yes, He will.
Isaiah 52:7-10 How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces shalom (peace) And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, "Your G-d reigns!" Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, They shout joyfully together; For they will see with their own eyes When the L-RD restores Zion. Break forth, shout joyfully together, You waste places of Yerushalayim; For the L-RD has comforted His people, He has redeemed Yerushalayim. The L-RD has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations, That all the ends of the earth may see The salvation of our G-d.
Hebrews 13:7-15 Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of G-d to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith. Yeshua HaMashiach is the SAME YESTERDAY and TODAY, YES and FOREVER. Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by mercy, not by foods, through which those who were thus occupied were not benefited. We have an altar, from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp. Therefore Yeshua also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come. Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to G-d, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
Praise Yeshua, Praise Salvation, and Praise the Salvation of HaShem.
