Sh'mot 40:17-33 Now it came about in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was erected. And Moshe erected the tabernacle and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and inserted its bars and erected its pillars. And he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent on top of it, just as the L-RD had commanded Moshe. Then he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and attached the poles to the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark. And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up a veil for the screen, and screened off the ark of the testimony, just as the L-RD had commanded Moshe. Then he put the table in the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil. And he set the arrangement of bread in order on it before the L-RD, just as the L-RD had commanded Moshe. Then he placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle. And he lighted the lamps before the L-RD, just as the L-RD had commanded Moshe. Then he placed the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the veil; and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the L-RD had commanded Moshe. Then he set up the veil for the doorway of the tabernacle. And he set the altar of burnt offering before the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, just as the L-RD had commanded Moshe. And he placed the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing. And from it Moshe and Aharon and his sons washed their hands and their feet. When they entered the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed, just as the L-RD had commanded Moshe. And he erected the court all around the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the veil for the gateway of the court. Thus Moshe finished the work.
The cleaning of the body was for cleansing and represented the purity of the priests. Yeshua washed the feet of his disciples and told Kefa (Peter) if you do not let me wash your feet you will have no part of me. What was so important about washing Peter's feet. There was a higher spiritual meaning here. The feet were considered unclean. Yeshua was serving Kefa (Peter). We cannot become spiritually clean for eternity unless we let Yeshua wash the filthiness in our heart (spiritual center) that is all our sins and uncleanliness. Yeshua is our High Priest above who came down to serve us and take away our sin forever and ever. Mercy is given on top of Mercy.
Yochanan (John) 13:1-11 Now before the Feast of the Pesach (Passover), Yeshua knowing that His hour had come that He should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him, Yeshua, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from G-d, and was going back to G-d, rose from supper, and laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself about. Then He poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. And so He came to Shim'on (Simon) Kefa (Peter). He said to Him, "L-rd, do You wash my feet?" Yeshua answered and said to him, "What I do you do not realize now, but you shall understand hereafter." Kefa (Peter) said to Him, "Never shall You wash my feet!" Yeshua answered him, "IF I DO NOT WASH YOU, YOU HAVE NO PART WITH ME." Shim'on (Simon) Kefa (Peter) said to Him, "L-rd, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head." Yeshua said to him, "He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you." For He knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, "Not all of you are clean."
If you are not washed with the blood of Yeshua you have no part with Him and therefore you have not part with the Father who sent Him.
Sh'mot 40:34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the L-RD filled the tabernacle.
The glory of the L-rd fills the tabernacle. The glory of the L-rd fills our bodies now. He will fill the tabernacle again in the future after the return of Yeshua the one true Messiah. This tabernacle is described in Yechezk'el (Ezekiel).
Sh'mot 40:35-38 And Moshe was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the L-RD filled the tabernacle. And throughout all their journeys whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel would set out; but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out until the day when it was taken up. For throughout all their journeys, the cloud of the L-RD was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel. NAS
In the future the glory of the Lamb will be light to the world from the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:22-27 And I saw no temple in it, for the L-rd G-d, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine upon it, for the glory of G-d has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. And the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it. And in the daytime (for there shall be no night there) its gates shall never be closed; and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Revelation 22:1-5 And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of G-d and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. And on either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall no longer be any curse; and the throne of G-d and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His bond-servants shall serve Him; and they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. And there shall no longer be any night; and they shall not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the L-rd G-d shall illumine them; and they shall reign forever and ever.
