Sh'mot 30:17-21 And the L-RD spoke to Moshe, saying, "You shall also make a laver of bronze, with its base of bronze, for washing; and you shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it. And Aharon and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet from it; when they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they may not die; or when they approach the altar to minister, by offering up in smoke a fire sacrifice to the L-RD. So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they may not die; and it shall be a perpetual statute for them, for Aharon and his descendants throughout their generations."
The laver of bronze was used for washing the hands and feet of the priests. The water from the laver symbolizes the washing that Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) does in our lives. Initially, when we confess our sins and accept Yeshua as our Mashiach our sins are washed away by the blood of Yeshua, the lamb of G-d. After this we need to keep our lives pure and separated from the temptations of the world. The priest washing their hands and feet symbolize that we are to keep our feet from taking us to places that we should not go and keep our hands from performing ungodly deeds.
Yochanan (John) 7:37-39 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried out, saying, "If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.'" But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Yeshua was not yet glorified. NAS
Yochanan (John) 17:17 "Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth. NAS
This was also a picture of our Messiah who would wash the feet of His disciples who will one-day judge the tribes of Israel.
Yochanan (John) 13:3-9 Yeshua, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from G-d, and was going back to G-d, rose from supper, and laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself about. Then He poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. And so He came to Shim'on Peter. He said to Him, "L-rd, do You wash my feet?" Yeshua answered and said to him, "What I do you do not realize now, but you shall understand hereafter." Peter said to Him, "Never shall You wash my feet!" Yeshua answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."
The Holy living Laver walked among His people.
Luke 22:27-30 But I am among you as the one who serves. "And you are those who have stood by Me in My trials; and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Sh'mot 30:22-33 Moreover, the L-RD spoke to Moshe, saying, "Take also for yourself the finest of spices: of flowing myrrh five hundred shekels, and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, two hundred and fifty, and of fragrant cane two hundred and fifty, and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin. And you shall make of these a holy anointing oil, a perfume mixture, the work of a perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil. And with it you shall anoint the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony, and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand. You shall also consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them shall be holy. And you shall anoint Aharon and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister as priests to Me. And you shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations. 'It shall not be poured on anyone's body, nor shall you make any like it, in the same proportions; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you. 'Whoever shall mix any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a layman, shall be cut off from his people.' "
The treasures were anointed with a special perfume. Yeshua also would be anointed with a special perfume before His death. We again have a picture of a future event and who would fulfill the type. We should also note that the treasures where used for the atonement of the people and that Yeshua tells the woman that anoints His feet with perfume that her sins are forgiven. What a picture!
Luke 7:46-50 "You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. "For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little." And He said to her, "Your sins have been forgiven." And those who were reclining at the table with Him began to say to themselves, "Who is this man who even forgives sins?" And He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."
What is more amazing, while only the High Priest could anoint the treasures etc, Yeshua allows a lowly woman overtaken with the burden of her sins to anoint Him.
Mark 14:3-9 And while He was in Bethany at the home of Shim'on the leper, and reclining at the table, there came a woman with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume of pure nard; and she broke the vial and poured it over His head. But some were indignantly remarking to one another, "Why has this perfume been wasted? "For this perfume might have been sold for over three hundred denarii, and the money given to the poor." And they were scolding her. But Yeshua said, "Let her alone; why do you bother her? She has done a good deed to Me. "For the poor you always have with you, and whenever you wish, you can do them good; but you do not always have Me. "She has done what she could; she has anointed My body beforehand for the burial. "And truly I say to you, wherever the good news is preached in the whole world, that also which this woman has done shall be spoken of in memory of her."
It is also interesting to note that if the holy perfume was put on a layman, that person would be cut off from among his people. Yeshua in contrast because of what she has done, forgives her sins and their relationship is restored. If He no longer keep her sin against her, who else would?
No one else can. Under the new and better covenant we are free from judgment.
Hebrews 9:23-28 It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Messiah did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in G-d's presence. Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Then Messiah would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Messiah was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.
Sh'mot 30:34-38 Then the L-RD said to Moshe, "Take for yourself spices, stacte and onycha and galbanum, spices with pure frankincense; there shall be an equal part of each. And with it you shall make incense, a perfume, the work of a perfumer, salted, pure, and holy. And you shall beat some of it very fine, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting, where I shall meet with you; it shall be most holy to you. And the incense which you shall make, you shall not make in the same proportions for yourselves; it shall be holy to you for the L-RD. Whoever shall make any like it, to use as perfume, shall be cut off from his people."
The Kings of the east who announced His Kingship also offered myrrh and frankincense to the baby Yeshua. We also mentioned what they represented in an earlier study.
Mattityahu (Matthew) 2:10-11 And when they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And they came into the house and saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell down and worshiped Him; and opening their treasures they presented to Him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.
