Sh'mot 24:9-11 Then Moshe went up with Aharon, Nadav and Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the G-d of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they beheld G-d, and they ate and drank.
Remember-The sky is blue-a sea of blue.
Also remember HaShem did not stretch out His hand.
The fact that they saw G-d further validates the truth of the revelations they receive. The glory of the Son was hidden when He was on earth. Some were chosen to see Him and be with Him to also further validate the truth.
Matt 14:25-33 And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were frightened, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear. But immediately Yeshua spoke to them, saying, "Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid." And Kefa (Peter) answered Him and said, "L-rd, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." And He said, "Come!" And Kefa got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Yeshua. But seeing the wind, he became afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, "L-rd, save me!" And immediately Yeshua stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got into the boat, the wind stopped. And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, "You are certainly G-d's Son!"
We see G-d on the mountain with sapphires the color of the sky beneath His feet. He was not stretching out His hand. Later we see Yeshua walking on a blue sea. In Contrast He is "Stretching out His hand" to Kefa (Peter). Kefa was admonished for his lack of trust. Without trust and help from Yeshua we will all perish. Kefa believed that Yeshua was G-d's Son.
Yochanan (John) 3:16-19 "For G-d so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For G-d did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of G-d's one and only Son.
Yet some still did not believe even after seeing Him. Some did not see Him but still believe. Blessed are those that have not seen and still trust in the Good News. First, We are to confess our sins and then trust that the blood of Yeshua will keep us from the wrath of the Father. This is what the Son told us to believe and He was told to do.
Will you do what He said and believe?
Will you confess it with your mouth?
Yochanan (John) 20:24-31 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Yeshua came. The other disciples therefore were saying to him, "We have seen the L-rd!" But he said to them, "Unless I shall see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." And after eight days again His disciples were inside, and Thomas with them. Yeshua came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst, and said, "Shalom be with you." Then He said to Thomas, "Reach here your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand, and put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing." Thomas answered and said to Him, "My L-rd and my G-d!" Yeshua said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed." Many other signs therefore Yeshua also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written that you may believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of G-d; and that believing you may have life in His name.
How?
1 Yochanan (John) 1:9-2:1 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
Romans 10:8-11 The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"-- that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Yeshua as L-rd, and believe in your heart that G-d raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Revelation 3:11-13 I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, in order that no one take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My G-d, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write upon him the name of My G-d, and the name of the city of My G-d, the New Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), which comes down out of heaven from My G-d, and My new name.
Sh'mot 24:12-18 Now the L-RD said to Moshe, "Come up to Me on the mountain and remain there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandment which I have written for their instruction." So Moshe arose with Joshua his servant, and Moshe went up to the mountain of G-d. But to the elders he said, "Wait here for us until we return to you. And look, Aharon and Hur are with you; whoever has a legal matter, let him approach them." Then Moshe went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. And the glory of the L-RD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day He called to Moshe from the midst of the cloud. And to the eyes of the sons of Israel the appearance of the glory of the L-RD was like a consuming fire on the mountaintop. And Moshe entered the midst of the cloud as he went up to the mountain; and Moshe was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
Stone tablets with the law and the commandment - These laws were written down in stone by the finger of G-d.
Forty days and forty nights - Moshe was alone with Ha Shem for 40 days and nights. Again we see his actions pointing to the read deal. Yeshua also was alone with Ha Shem in the wilderness for 40 days and nights. At the end of that time He faced temptation from HaSatan.
Matthew 4:1-3 Then Yeshua was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry. NAS
