Hirondelle Studios was established 7 years ago by Nik Bowden, who with 30 years experience in the glass fibre and moulding industry, sought to share his knowledge.

Educated in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, Nik has developed moulding processes in South Africa, England, Australia, the South Pacific and Asia.

His cold cast bronze statues are sought after and Hirondelle Studios have produced limited editions for Sculptors and Public Art Galleries alike.

Some 20 years ago Nik developed the forerunner of Aragonstone a two component, water based moulding compound based on a natural occurring material. The cast material produces a beautiful, tactile product when polished.
