Despite stormy weather, the Ateneo de Naga High School Class of 1983 pushed thru with the batch assembly last August 18, 2007 for Metro Manila-based classmates. Hosting the assembly in his lovely house in Filinvest East in Cainta was Arthur Puncia.

In attendance in addition to host Arthur were Bobby Castilla, Don Melgarejo, Erning Badong, Ed Balcueva, Vicboy de Lima, Franco Besinio, Jobel Belarmino and Bogs Abogado.

The objective of the batch assembly was the election for the five Metro Manila l representatives to the Board of the Batch. Chosen as five Metro Manila reps are :

• Bert Ferro
• Noel Guevara
• Rogel Jovellanos
• Vicboy de Lima
• Arthur Puncia

After the “election”, Vicboy updated the classmates present of the initiatives the batch has been undertaking since the 1 st quarter of 2007. These are:

• Membership: Locate. Update. Supplicate

• SEC Registration

• Batch website

• Fund-raising project(s) in Metro Manila

It was also decided in the meeting that several of the Metro Manila-based classmates will go home to Bicol and join the batch assembly in Naga for Aug 25.
