Brussels Photographs
GeoCities is closing on October 26, 2009.
Check out my new site: ScholarScribe.

Brussels, Belgium. I have very little time to write about the photographs here, especially after writing so much in my adventure log. A lot of this material is discussed in great detail in my log, so be sure to read my notes. Ok, with that said. The tower of le Gran Place. It was enveloped by fog when I first arrived, but was still really impressive.

Neat lions guarded the base of the tower.

This is my "see I was there and didn't steal these off the internet" photo. This was something like 7am, the place was empty and damned cold.

Lovely fountain. (ooh, ahh)

This is the Garden of the Gods discussed in my adventure log. On the other side of the fountain you can just make out the statues of Hera and Apollo.

Statue of Artemis.

A glass piano! Really neat twinkling sounds!

I have no idea what this instrument is. But it looked really wierd and deserved a photo. I was really annoyed that the headset would not play the sound this thing made.

Gosh those hats must have been heavy. These guys were swerving all over, I am certain they were well trolleyed.

Crazy parade.

See! Belgians drinking the pee from their fountain.

Irene, the girl I bunked with on the train from Brussels to Switzerland.
