This is my family and I. My husband and I were married on December 29, 1996.
We met in the April of 1995. Actually, we had gone to the same high school and just never talked...It was at a party a mutual friend took me too. I remember it like it was yesterday. He kissed my hand when we were introduced. I knew right then that we would some day know each other much better!! Not that I thought we would end up sharing our lives as one! So for those of you who don't believe in love, don't give up yet!

A few weeks later I moved in with him at his Dad's house!! Things have not always been easy, but we always find a way to work it all out. We were married on December 29, 1996. We didn't had time to plan much of a wedding, his Dad all the sudden decided it wasn't ok for us to live together out of wed-lock.

So it was either get married (which we had planned on and just couldn't afford) or have separate bedrooms!! So course, we got married a week later! The ceremony was at the waterfront Pavilion iHistorical downtown.
It was 75 degrees outside and a beautiful clear day!
There wasn't a cloud in the sky! We could here the birds cooing and the fish splashing.We chose poems to read to each other during the ceremony to express our love. I still have them in our Wedding Album, so I will look them up and put them on here for you to see..but don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen! hehe.

It was a very small ceremony, just close friends and family. My mom bought flowers for my hair and the wedding cake. We had a small reception at the local Eagle's club. The food was barbeque chicken wings and fries! lol, talk about REDNECK!!

Aric is the eldest born. He is a very spiritual little boy. He loves to talk to the plants and help them grow. When he sees sad or angry people, he reminds them to let their hearts glow!!

Our youngest son Christopher (He is the one in Quiet's lap~Hubby) was born on March 16th, 1999.
We rent a two bedroom apartment in Georgia.
Right Mike is working in Construction (home remodling and going to Tech school full time also. I work in a local convenience store. I only work when Mike is at home to be with the boys, we refuse to leave it up to a stranger to raise them.

In case you are wondering, we did get the boys haircuts very shortly after this was taken! lol Too bad we hadn't had the time to do it BEFORE the picture!

--THE PAST

She came tonight as I sat alone..
The girl I used to be....
And she gazed at me with her earnest eye

Quiet is just about all I could ask for in a husband and father.    He is loving, generous and understanding. He loves me for who I am, not some ideal he expects me to be. He stood by me even when for 2 years I was so lost in depression
I practically forgot about him.

He is a very hard worker. Right now he is working in construction about 35 hours a week, plus going to college full time. We don't get to spend a whole of time together anymore, because I work 3 - 4 nights a week; and only when he is home to care for the children.

There is nothing he wouldn't do to help someone in need. Even when it means he goes without.

The kids adore him, and always get so excited when he comes home!!   They miss him on the nights he doesn't get home until they are asleep bacause of school. He always goes in to kiss them and cover them up when he gets home on those nights....it is very touching.

He is my best friend, my lover, and my soulmate We BOTH feel we have been together in many lifetimes.

Quiet is going to college an ITT Technical Institute. He is studying for his Associates degree in Web Design.
He will graduate in December of 2003 (I think that's when! LOL)
After gettting a good job far away from where we live now he intends to continue with his education. Quiet plans to get his Bachelor's degree in
Software Programming.
