| Ludacris is an Atlanta, GA, based rapper and the first artist to be signed to the spin-off label Def Jam Recordings, South. He caught the attention of the label's president, Scarface, when his single "What's Your Fantasy" went to number one on a local radio station's chart. The single appeared on Ludacris's May 2000 debut album, Incognegro.
