After 8 years Rawkus closes it's doors.
Rawkus Records is finally through and it doesn't come as much of a suprise. A label that has put out amazing albums such as "Reflection Eternal", "Black Star", "Internal Affairs," and the infamous "Soundbombing" and "Lyricist Lounge" series.
it is a shame that this happened but as of late the label has made off color choices. Ever since distrubter Priority Records feel through the label has been struggling to put out work. It took about 8 months before MCA came along in 2002 and gave new hope. Thought with a disappointing third release of "Soundbombing III" the label couldn't quite recover. Now dozens of great artist are up in the air and it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
