Mr. Heinz-Willi Lottermann died on 05OCT2000

We regret to have to inform that Mr.Heinz-Willy Lottermann passed away on 05OCT2000 at the age of 63. He was one good friend and a great motivator of the international VW Scene. He organized the famous Bad Camberg Vintage VW Beetle Meetings, in Bad Camberg/Germany.
This picture shows Mr. Lottermann addressing the participants of the 5th International Bad Camberg Meeting. It was made on 24JUN1995 by Alexander Gromow. On the same day Alexander presented the 'World Wide VW Beetle Day' for the acclamation of the VW Beetle Lovers Global Community, represented by persons that came from the 5 continents.
Lamentamos ter que informar que o Sr.Heinz-Willi Lottermann faleceu no dia 05OCT200 aos 63 anos. Ele foi um bom amigo e um grande motivador da cena VW internacional. Ele organizava os famosos Encontros de Fusca Antigos de Bad Camberg, na Alemanha.
Esta fotografia mostra o Sr. Lottermann falando para os participantes do 5. Encontro Internacional de VW Antigos de Bad Camberg. A foto foi feita do dia 24JUN1995 por Alexander Gromow. No mesmo dia Alexander apresentou o 'Dia Mundial do Fusca' para a aclama��o da comunidade global de amantes do Fusca, representada por pessoas vindas dos 5 continentes.

Sein Rat war stets gesch�tzt: In memoriam Heinz Willi Lottermann

Bad Camberg. F�r Freunde und Bekannte war es ein Schock: Heinz-Willi Lottermann ist am Donnerstag �berraschend gestorben. Der 63-J�hrige erlitt zu Hause einen Herzanfall und war sofort tot. Der gelernte Kfz-Mechaniker war weit �ber die Grenzen der Kurstadt bekannt geworden - durch die best�ndig von ihm initiierten K�fer-Treffen zum Beispiel.

1952 hatte sein Vater Tankstelle und Autowerkstatt an der Frankfurter Stra�e er�ffnet. Heinz Willi Lottermann ging dort in die Lehre. 1964 heiratete er Rita Kremer. In den folgenden Jahren kamen die S�hne Markus, Thomas und Stefan zur Welt. 1908 �bernahm Heinz-Willi Lottermann Werkstatt und Tankstelle. Unter seiner Regie wuchs das Authaus Lottermann best�ndig. Sein Bruder Michael f�hrt die ebenfalls vom Vater �bernommene Fahrschule.

Bei vielen Gelegenheiten war Heinz Willi Lottermann mit von der Partie, wenn es darum ging, die Kurstadt ein wenig bekannter zu machen - und das im positiven Sinne. Im Kur- und Verkehrsverein geh�rte er zu denen, auf deren Rat immer Wert gelegt wurde. Er verstand es, Hobby und Beruf auf besondere Weise in Einklang zu bringen und auch bei weniger Autobegeisterten Interesse f�r sein Hobby zu wecken. Seine Sammelleidenschaft brachte Kontakte zu Menschen auf allen Kontinenten. G�ste aus Japan, Neuseeland, Brasilien, Australien und den USA, und aus alle L�nder Europas, kamen regelm��ig zu den alle vier Jahre initiierten K�fertreffen in Bad Camberg. Weitere Interessierte nutzten seine Tauschb�rse f�r Nummernschilder.

Wer als Fremder einen solchen Markt besuchte, dem erkl�rte er gerne und ausf�hrlich die verschiedenen Exponate, machte ihn freundlich vertraut mit den unterschiedlichsten Jahrg�ngen von VW-K�fern. Daran werden sich viele ebenso erinnern wie an seine fachkundigen Ratschl�ge bei vielen Gelegenheiten, sobald es um die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Kurstadt ging.

Bad Camberg. Para amigos e conhecidos foi um choque: Heinz-Willi Lottermann faleceu inesperadamente na quinta-feira (05OCT2000). Com 63 anos de idade ele sofreu um ataque card�aco em sua casa e teve morte imediata. O mestre mec�nico de autom�veis era conhecido muito al�m das fronteiras de sua cidade atrav�s, por exemplo, dos encontros de Fuscas que organizou.

Em 1952 seu pai abriu um posto de gasolina e oficina mec�nica na Rua Frankfurter. Heinz-Willi Lottermann fez seus estudos de mec�nica nesta oficina. Em 1964 ele casou com Rita Kremer. Nos anos seguintes vieram ao mundo seus filhos Markus, Thomas e Stefan. Em 1978 ele assumiu a oficina e o posto de gasolina. Sob o seu comando o "Autohaus Lottermann" cresceu constantemente. O seu irm�o Michael gerencia a auto-escola igualmente assumida de seu pai.

Em muitas oportunidades Heinz-Willi Lottermann fazia parte do grupo quando o assunto era fazer a esta��o de �guas (Bad Camberg) um pouco mais conhecida - e isto no sentido positivo. Na entidade administradora da esta��o de �guas ele pertencia ao grupo daqueles a cujo conselho sempre se dava valor. Ele sabia como tornar o seu trabalho e seu hobby num un�ssono de uma maneira especial, tanto que conseguia despertar o interesse por seu hobby mesmo naqueles menos entusiasmados pelo assunto. Sua paix�o pela cole��o trouxe contatos com pessoas de todos os continentes. Visitantes do Jap�o, Nova Zel�ndia, Brasil, Austr�lia e dos Estados Unidos, sem esquecer representantes dos paises europeus, vinham regularmente a Bad Camberg para os encontros de Fusca organizados de quatro em quatro anos. Outros interessados lan�avam m�o de sua bolsa de trocas de placas de autom�veis (outro hobby seu).

Aos forasteiros que visitavam tais encontros ele esclarecia, com prazer e detalhadamente, os diferentes exemplos expostos; fazia com que conhecessem a fundo os diferentes anos de fabrica��o dos Fuscas. Muitos se lembrar�o, tamb�m, de seus pareceres competentes, emitidos em muitas oportunidades, sempre que o assunto era o progresso econ�mico da esta��o de �guas.

His advice was always appreciated: In memoriam Heinz-Willi Lottermann

Bad Camberg. For friends and to all to whom he was familiar it was a shock: Heinz-Willi Lottermann suddenly died on Thursday (05OCT2000). At the age of 63 he suffered a hearth attack at home and died immediately. The automobile mechanical master was known far beyond the boundaries of his town trough, for instance, the VW Beetle Meetings he organized.

In 1952 his father established one gas station and automobile workshop at the Frankfurter Street. Heinz-Willi Lottermann made his automobile mechanics study at this workshop. In 1964 he married Rita Kremer. The following years his three sons, Markus, Thomas and Stefan, came to this world. In 1978 he assumed the workshop and the gas station. Under his management the "Autohaus Lottermann" grew steadily. His brother Michael manages the driving school that was also assumed from their father.

In many opportunities Heinz-Willi Lottermann was part of the group when the subject was to make the city a bit more known - in the positive sense. In the city's administrative board he belonged to the group of those whose advice was always considered. He knew how to make his work and his hobby unisonous in a very special way, in such a manner that he managed to wake up the interest for his hobby also in people less enthusiastic in this field. His passion for collection brought contact with persons from all continents. Visitors from Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, Australia and United States, not forgetting representative's form the European countries, came regularly to Bad Camberg for the VW Beetle Meetings he organized every four years. Other persons made use of his automobile license plates exchange purse (this was his another hobby).

To the foreigners that visited those meetings he joyfully explained in details the different exposed samples; he made them deeply know the different types of VW Beetle produced throughout the years. Many will remember also his proper advices, given in many opportunities, always when the subject was the economic progress of Bad Camberg.
