| My Theatre History I have always loved to act since I was little. My first time on stage was in seventh grade when I played Charlie Brown, in Merry Christmas Charlie Brown at Hopewell Valley Children's Theatre. After that I played Mr. Brownlow (Oliver's grandpa) in Oliver in Middle School. That summer I retured to HVCT as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. I then didn't do much in theatre the next year. That summer, I interned at HVCT during their productions of The Wiz and Oliver. Then, in my freshman year in High School, I was back on the stage in The Grass Harp as The Sheiriff. Later that year I was set construction and spotlight in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, which was a really fun experience. Then, that summer, I returned to inturning at HVCT during their productions of Mary Poppins and Westside Story. Then, last fall I played Sen. Titus Savage in The Curious Savage. I am the Assistant Lighting Director for our current school musical Man of La Mancha. I am also in the stagecraft class so I also am designing the set for the play. I was also in the Spring Lake Dance Company's production of The Nutcracker as the ballet's name sake, this weekend, it was really fun as my first real dance experience. I have a feeling I am going to try and do it again next year and try and take up tap. I love theatre. |
