Hinterstoder?
Hinterstoder is a small (1200 inhabitants) authentical village at the end of an extremely beautiful valley surrounded by unspoiled nature. The ski resort is small, but very attractice and well maintained and thus ideal for families. Hinterstoder is the place for sports and to relax in winter and summer. It is also an ideal starting place for various excursions.

In winter ideal for: skiing, cross country ski (very nice slope passing 50 m from the apartment), snow boarding, walking (Hinterstoder offers long, sunny cleared paths, passing near the apartment) Further more sledging, para gliding and much more.

In summer ideal for: beautiful mountain hiking, kayaking, walking, tennis, siwmming (a heated open door pool on 300 m from the apartment) Further more horse riding, para gliding and much more.

How to get there?


Hinterstoder is situated in Upper Austria around 70km south of Linz.

Coming from Germany via
Munich/Salzburg or Passau/Wels you arrive on the A1 highway. At the highway crossing "Voralpenkreuz" (20km West of Linz) you choose the A9 highway leading South (direction Graz).
The highway (still) stops at Kirchdorf but continues immediately after the city - follow the highway till the
exit St. Pankraz / Hinterstoder.  Then follow the signs for Hinterstoder leading you on a road for another 10 km leading into the valley of the Steyr river where Hinterstoder lies.
