| The History Of the Hinman Production Company | ||||||
| The Hinman Production Company, founded in 1980, is now in its 25th year. Located in the Hinman Commons, our original theater began in the '70's as "The Little Theater that Could" with Paul Reiser and we have since blossomed into an every-growing student-run company performing various straight shows and musical productions. We welcome all Binghamton students at our meetings, on our crew, and to audition for us. You do not have to live in Hinman to get involved. Above all, we are a community theater company dedicated to making theater fun. A cast member in an HPC production leaves with much more than a simple part in a play; they gain experience in nearly every aspect of theater from advertising to costumes, set construction to strike. An HPC performance is not the result of everyone doing only their part, but the result of real teamwork and commitment. We are a theater company with heart. |
