Devkar Bhandari

Devkar Bhandari community is their in Taluka Palghar, Taluka Dahanu, Taluka Umbargaon and District Surat. Devkar Bhandari speaks marathi in wada Pokhare, Dasagaon, Dahanu, Chichane, Nalasopara. Devkar Bhandari speaks gujarati in region beyond Khadi of Dahanu to Surat. The Language is not the barrier to their community. The cross language marriage frequently occurs in this community.

Sheshvashi or Shindhe Bhandari are settled in Mumbai City and in Vasai Taluka, Palghar Taluka, Thane City of District Thane. This people came with Pratap Bimba and settled in this village. His rule is from 321 BC to 184 BC. As Mauryas  where ruling so due to that " more" surname left. Previously they are connected with Paithan.
