Reviews: Rave and Otherwise |
|
|
|
Hindsite has been getting rave reviews from the local music community and audiences it has played for since its inception in October 2005. The band is an ensemble of long-time Yellowknife musicians with a proven track record of providing quality live performances. With a collective 50+ years of experience, Hindsite plays what crowds want to hear! Hindsites format is classic rock to harder alternative music. |

"[On November 17, 2006] Hindsite followed Esker [in the opening show for Kim Mitchel] and got the growing crowd in the classic rock mood with covers of some classic favorites. By this time the arena has warmed up with the hundreds of new arrivals which made for a much more enjoyable listening experience. Hindsite lived up to their reputation of putting on a good live show, as people were singing and dancing along to the classic tunes. If you saw them there and want to see more theyll be playing at Le Frolic on December 7, 8, 9, 2006." - (Source: YK@Night) |

On June 9, 2006, Hindsite took the stage at Music in the Park (which happened to take place in the multiplex, go figure) and played a two song set. The children danced, the adults tapped their feet and everyone agreed that despite their old age, they were still super fantastic. This was eagerly reflected in the final moments of the event, when Hindsite was selected to perform at the Canada Day celebrations of July 1, 2006. |

Testimonials:
"You are a very talented musician." - A fan to Rick Maddeaux
Hindsite sped through an intense set of classic rock covers played loud and hard. The band blends talent and experience. Their dynamic performance kept the energy level late in the line-up with Smith in perpetual motion. (Bushed Festival, Yellowknife, NT) - The Yellowknifer, 01/03/06.
Hindsite is 20/20! Another hot new band introduced itself at Sams Monkey Tree jam Thursday night! Hindsite is a hard-driving, kinetic and fun combination of four talented musicians. Experiencing this bands fast, booming set was probably equivalent to a half hour of cardiovascular exercise. The Yellowknifer, 01/02/06
Man, you guys rocked! You made me not want to kill myself! A fan that approached us after our Bushed Festival set. |
