Biography: A freshman at Domino High, he loves to play games, especially Duel Monsters. He had received the Millennium Puzzle from his grandfather, who claimed that whoever solved it would gain dark and mysterious powers. Well guess what? Yugi did! By doing so, he unleashed the spirit of a 5,000 year-old ancient Egyptian pharaoh who had locked part of his soul away in the puzzle in order to save the world from the Shadow Games. Yami Yugi became part of little Yugi Mutou, becoming like his other half. Whenever Yugi needs help, (especially when he duels), he calls upon his yami to appear. When that happens, he grows a foot taller and gets blonde streaks in his hair. His outfit changes as well. Yugi is the shy and quiet type with a heart of gold, which sharply contrasts with his yami risking the safety of others just to win a game. His best friends are Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, and T�a Gardner, whom he has had a crush on for years. His other friends include Bakura Ryou, Duke Devlin, and Mai Valentine. His arch rival is Seto Kaiba. Unlike Bakura and Malik's yamis, Yami Yugi is a good spirit. Since Yami Yugi's memories are lost, Yugi is trying to help him to regain them by gaining all three Egyptian god cards and all seven Millennium Items---if Malik Ishtar and Yami Bakura don't get to them first.

My Thoughts: HE IS SO ADORABLE!!! I simply love him! You have to admit that he's a great character. I barely see any shrines to just Yugi Mutou. I see plently for his yami, (though this site represtents him as well), but what would Yami Yugi be without little Yugi? Yugi Mutou is a perfect example of a true friend and good in this world.
