Biography: The firstborn son, his mother died giving birth to him. He, his sister, his servant, and his father lived underground practically their entire lives. Malik had the Egyptian god cards and the pharaoh�s memories carved into his back with a hot knife as part of a family ritual. He was supposed to tell the pharaoh, Yami Yugi, about the god cards and about his memories. Because of that ritual, Yami Malik was born. One day, Malik talked his sister, Isis, into going to the marketplace for the first time (thus, his love for motorcycles began). Rashid agreed to stay behind. While exploring the marketplace, Shadi appeared and warned them. Isis and Malik return to their home, realizing too late that a trap had been set off. The siblings came across their father abusing Rashid with a whip, punishing him for letting his children leave. Yami Malik took control of Malik---and trust me, folks, there's nothing like a psychotic eight year-old! He caught the whip, took the Millennium Rod, unsheathed the hidden dagger, and stabbed his father to death. For years afterwards, the darkness consumed him and he became obsessed with power and gaining possession of the Egyptian god cards and the Millennium Items. He traveled to Domino City with his rare hunters to find Yugi, the god cards, and the Millennium Items so that he could rule the world. In truth, he cares for Isis and Rashid and eventually comes to regret the things that he's done. He�s somewhat cocky, talkative, boastful, sarcastic, confident, smart, taunting, very mysterious, tricky, and commanding. When Yami Malik takes over, he gets worse and becomes even more sadistic and evil than he already is. But basically, he�s misunderstood. Who could blame him with all that's happened to him?
Other Information: -The Millennium Rod is known as the Sennen Rod in the Japanese version while the Millennium Necklace is known at the Sennen Tauk. The Millennium Rod can take control of people and turn them into Malik's mind slaves while the Millennium necklace can see into the past and future.

-Isis is the name of an Egyptian goddess, the wife of Osiris. (I�m an Egyptian freak, I know a lot about it.)
My Thoughts: He�s simply adorable! You don�t see many Egyptians with platinum blonde hair and lavender eyes, now, do ya? And he has such a mysterious and tortured personality. This character is such a puzzle, and that's the main thing that I like about him.
