Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Division in Galloway Township.
He was employed by Atlantic Electric as a mechanic electrician i
n the Underground Department for more than 30 years before he retired.
A veteran of World War II, he was in the Sea Bee of the U.S.Navy, 
where he served in the Pacific Theatre and was awarded the Purple Heart
Mr. Quinlan was a member of the American Legion Post No. 396 and 
a Veterans of Foreign Wars, both posts in Brigantine.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa. he has lived in Brigantine NJ since 1949
He is survived by his wife, Catherine, one son, 
Staff  Sgt. Joseph Quinlan, who is presently serving in the U.S. Army in Panana City, Panama; 
two daughters, Colleen Matinez of Mexico City, Mexico, and Katie Ann of Brigantine; 
his Mother, Margaret of Pine Hill; two brothers, Charles  and Richard of Philadelphia; 
four sisters, Margaret O'Donnell of Erial, Kathryn Castor of Pine Hill, 
Patricia Paratore of Audubon Park, and Maria Flack of Glassboro 
and five grandchildren
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, Friday at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, 
8th Street and Brigantine Ave, Brigantine. Burial will be private.

Charles David Maier, former captain in the German Army and operator of a service station on 91st and Tinicum Ave. who died Thursday, will be buried from his home 9000 Tinicum Ave. tomorrow.
Solemn Requem Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Church at 10 A.M.  Interment will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Maier, who was 72, was the father of Captain William F. Maier of the 24th and Wolf sts. police station, 
and Patrolman Edward Maier, of the 10th and Buttonwood sts. Station

died Saturday, November 17, 2001, in Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury, NJ. 
She was 88 years old. Mrs. Paratore was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She later moved to Bellmawr, NJ 
where she lived for 50 years before moving to Deptford Twp 3 years ago. 
She worked as a seamstress for DiPaolo Brothers in Camden and has been retired for the past 25 years. 
Mrs. Paratore was the wife of the late Francis A. She is survived by 1 son Robert P. and his wife Renee of Woodbury, NJ; 
1 brother Pasquale Simelaro of Philadelphia, PA; 3 sisters Josephine Rocco and 
Rose Buonpastore, both of Phila., PA and Dolly Lutjen of Washington; 
7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. 
Predeceased by her son Anthony F.

He was born in Darby, Pa., and came here more than 50 years ago.
He retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 308 St. Petersburg.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta; a son, John Rourke Jr., Seminole;

and Kelly Marie Psaila, Holley, Mich.; and four grandchildren.

Kathleen Kass Maier (nee Warner) on February 28, 2004 of the Almonesson Lake section of Deptford.  Age 65. Loving mother of Colleen Maier (James Pierson), John Neumann Maier and his wife Brenda, Sheila Maier and her husband Tom Renaud. Beloved sister of Maureen Golden of Tinicum, Pa, and Terrance Warner of Audubon, Pa. and his wife Kay. Beloved grandmother of Serena, Nevin and Ian Renaud. Survived by father of her three children, life long friend John R. Maier of Deptford and best friend Anne Dejesse of Collingdale, Pa. Also loving nieces and nephews and their children. Kass was born in Philadelphia, the Meadows, graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in 1956. She was married and raised her family in Deptford and attended St. John Vianney Church. Kass was very involved in Deptford Township and the community. She retired in 1999 from her position as the Deptford Township Clerk. She also served as acting Township Manager.

Currently a commissioner to the Deptford Twp. MUA and Legislative Aid to the Hon. Joseph Roberts. Kass was elected as a NJ Democrat State Committeewoman and Gloucester County Executive Committee member. Member of Deptford Democrat Club and former Chairwoman of the Deptford Democrat Committee.

Kass enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was friend to many and loved by all who knew her. She loved boating, the shore, and traveling, spending time at the Atlantic City Casinos with Anne and celebrating holidays.
