City of saint Gorakhnath. Famous for things like Gita press (if you have any holy hindu book, like ram-charita-manas, you'll find gita press on it's cover) and Gorakhnath temple. Apart from these things, Gorakhpur is zonal head quarter of noth easteren railways.
