I lived on a farm as a child & always had a variety of animals around me, which included up to six cats. � I registered my prefix Skybank over 30 years ago, but prior to this had been showing blue Persians & a chinchilla desexed since 1968. Over those many years I bred most colours, & also branched into Exotics, including Colourpoints. I imported Gd�Ch. Purrbox Short Giant a redpoint exotic from Norway & he was bred with Gd Ch Watalia Posh Tookalook, (a seal) later I was fortunate in being offered a brown tabby CPC (Myriddan Juztabustababe) & she is still with me such a wonderful, wonderful girl, progeny from her daughters are in most States of Australia. Soon after, I imported Elora Von Barkentin DK from Denmark she is a torti/point exotic & has been the backbone of my Colourpoint exotic breeding program and her progeny has helped others to get started with C/Point exotics. Next import from Norway was Purrbox Power of Love a bluepoint Persian, he too has been invaluable for my breeding plans & is currently my only Himalayan Stud. I might add I have a blue Selkirk rex CPC & he mated her the night she arrived to live with Skybank, He is one affectionate gorgeous stud and loves his girl friends. We all had to originally get started & I am grateful for the support I got from other breeders, & therefore try to help & encourage new breeders & exhibitors. My Colourpoint which I current have are all DNA tested for PKD & all have a clear certificate. Prior to DNA testing I did have them scanned & were negative, nevertheless it was a relief to get the clear results with DNA.
