| My name is Maureen McNicoll. I live on 26 hectares overlookingthe PeelValley
just outside of Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia.
My daughter started me off breeding catsin 1988 when she turned 15 years of
age. I thought that was a great idea at the time, to keep her mind from other
things (boys). I never realised it would turn into such a passion and love
affair of the Persian breed. A lot of older breeders would remember my lovely
smokes on the show bench - I still breed these in a small way.
However,I always lovedthe Himalayan breed and couldn't help myself when the
opportunity arose. The babies are born white, and although you have an idea
what you have in the litter, it is always a "wait and see" to make sure you
have their colours correct.
I mostly breed the pure colours, because I think eventually we will lose these
lines - as so many people are delving into all those tabby (lynx) patterns. It
is all a matter of choice after all. I must admit to seeing some lovely colours
out there - but HOW do they work out all those colours - it is beyond me!
I like to sell my best to permanent loving homes, so please feel free to
contact me by emailbelow or visit my web page by clicking on the link below. |
