Chainoponds Cattery situated in a quite country town of Kootingal 20 minutes north of Tamworth the capital of Country Music. Chainoponds has been breeding cats since 1989 in Solids and Smoke Persians and Bi-Colours, and in June 2005 branched out into the wonderful Himalayan Cat in Long Hair and Exotic's. My first Himalayan thanks to Betty from Skybank was a proven queen Skybank Twice as Nice Tortie Point Exotic and she has stood up to her name as being twice as nice, what a temperament. With Nicie as I call her I then got my Skybank Deluxe addition a long hair Red Point and from there Tadala Jasmine from Dottie Dearn and then in January 2006 Myriddan Anna Lis came to live with me from Anne Lees. Skybank Twice as Nice gave me her first kittens in October 2005. We at Chainoponds have really fallen in love with the Himalayan Cat and we have so much to learn yet about this wonderful cat but it is exciting learning.
