II. Description and Analysis
Our todays world of matter were very much destructive due to some man's
activities, in which this man thinks only in his self beneficiaries and doesn't
have any awareness in regards to the result of his activities, into his environment.
Here are some activities of man which are hazardous in our environment: illegal
logging, forest fire, dynamite fishing, kaingin and quarrying. In our place,
quarrying is very much common. Quarrying is one of the major problems and what
will be the effect in our mother nature?
In this case, we cannot really state what will be the possible solution on this.
It provides us ouir needs in building our homes and give us comfort. We considered
quarrying as an industry and this is a big help for us especially in our country
because they pay taxes for it. So it's difficult to stop this activity. But in a
small way we can solve this problem, we have to sacrifice and do our job as
responsible person. We should cooperate with other people in minimizing doing this
activity. We should protect our environment for the sake of the next generation.

We now find today that our environment was nearly destructed because of illegal
activities. But there are also legal activities which can destroy our environment.
One of these is quarrying. Quarrying is one of the major problems in the society
which until now is not yet solved. When people continue to do this he can cause
damage to our Mother Earth and it can also cause floods which can affect the people
who are living near the river or the quarrying area. In order to solve this problem
or prevent this activities we should cooperate in minimizing doing this activity.
We should protect our environment for the sake of the people in the next generation.
In order to do this, not only the people will cooperate but also the government.
The government must make or formulate a law which tells that for every person who
be caught doing this activity will have a penalty either imprisonment for about
20-30 years or pay the amount of P100,000-P300,000.
On the other hand quarrying gives also benefit to man. Quarrying is a big help in
building our houses.But we want to recommend them that they should not over use
the sand and gravel because it can damage the environment. They should also listen
to the people's demands especially the people which are very much affected, like
the people living near the road. They should help in maintaining the good condition
of the road.

Question: What are the problems of our environment today?
Answer:
Today our environment was nearly destructed because of some activities of man.
Some of these environmental problems are forest fires, mining, dynamite fishing,
illegal logging and especially quarrying, which can destroy our environment. And
these can result into ecological imbalance.
