The spirit of Halloween prevailed throughout Ralston's house. Thanks to the creativity of Ralston's daughter and wife, furniture was cleverly draped in spider webs, carved pumpkins decorated the tables, Halloween banners greeted costumed guests and plumes of "smoke" drifted amidst the great variety of pot-luck dishes. If you would like to read more about the good fun we had at Ralston's, log onto the Hilo high school website and read Beryl's chat note under "talk back" general discussion.

In honor of Matt Daog's birthday, he was presented with a Halloween-themed cake and serenaded by his classmates.
