ABOUT ME
i       From ever Welcome to the nerd zone.I am an eighteen year-old teenager born and brought up in sub-saharan Africa....quite an unlikelly place to find one so keen on science and technology you might think but it is actually not the case. From ever since I can remember science has always fascinated me in a way that nothing else could. After watching my first episode of star trek I knew my fate was sealed and I was to take a career in the line of science particulary theoretical physics.
I chose theoretical physics because by nature I am very curious and annalytical and ,though lacking in marterial facilities ,I can always depend on my imagination to lead me through thought experiments that often yield accurate results.I guess in a way it is as my role model Einstein once said"The true nature of the existence of such a man as myself lies in what he thinks and how he thinks and not so much what he does and how he does it."Physics satisfies my curiosity emmensely as it has clear laws and principles which are expressed in mathematical equations and so is easy to comprehend and verify. In my opinion that makes it the most logical scince in existence as of now.
In my short life I have come to appreciate the true significance of the lives of the great scientists and how their works have  had a permiating effect in society changing mans way of life, the  economy and even influencing how we think by influencing philosophy.Take the unlikelly example of how Einsteins theory of relativity had a philosophical impact quite beyond anticipation.I have therefore modeled my life after my heroes and although it may only be in a small way I hope to have an impact as they did. So far I have had my momments in the sun.In high school I took part in many science fairs and conferences at the national level and as a form three student managed to produce the best applied science talk in my country.Upon doing my high school exam I emerged second overall in the country scooping the top position in mathematics and physics.
In my love of science though I am not blind to the fact that it has its incomplete aspects and in a way at times borders on folly. It is as Einstein again said that ,"One thing I have learnt in a long life is that all our science, measured aganist reality,is primitive and childlike-and yet its the most precios thing we have."I will terefore gladly devote my life to science so that by so doing I may bring mankind one step closer to scientific maturity.
