DCC FIRE & ICE is a 5 year old curly foxtrotter mare.  She is registered with ICHO, MFTHBA, SSHBEA.

She would be suitable to be bred to any ICHO, MFT, or SSHBEA stallion for a double or even triple registered foal.  She is double
curly bred and is suspected to be homozygous for the curly gene.

Her sire is DCC Lucky Touch and her dam is DCC Strawberry Ice.  She is just over 15 hands and is a very well built stocky mare and
could carry any sized rider.

She had 30 days training last year and has a wonderful smooth foxtrot.  It is not uncommon to see her gait naturally in the field.

She is a beautiful bay roan in color and is marked evenly on both sides.  We get lots of remarks on her unique color.  Lots of color possibilities with this mare. Fire would be an excellent addition to any gaited breeding program. Please e-mail for pricing and additional information.
She is for Sale   Priced at $4000 for quick sale.

Curly foxtrotters offer the best of both worlds.  Foxtrotters are known for their smooth gaits and curly horses are known for being hypoallergenic.  Most people who are allergic to horses have very little or no allergic reaction to curly horses.  Our curly foxtrotters are double registered with the Missouri Foxtrotter Association and the International Curly Horse Association.  For more information on our foxtrotters, please read below.
The orgin of the dominant Curly gene in the Missouri Foxtrotters is a stallion named Curly Jim.  His grandson, Walker's Prince T (sired by Walker's Merry Lad) can be named as the foundation stallion of this line of curly foxtrotters.  Walker's Prince T offspring are valued among curly breeders and foxtrotters breeds alike for their good temperaments, balanced conformation, and beautiful curly coat with long mane and tail and their smooth gaits.

However, since WPT was used so much, to avoid inbreeding in the line, several breeders have in the last years outcrossed to straight Missouri Foxtrotters.  By carefully selecting breeding stock, this has maintained the hypoallergenity and good qualities from WPT but improved the foxtrot gait and conformation even more.

Our former stallion, Comanche, and his foals are prime examples of this. Comanche carries only 1/8 WPT II in his pedigree and his foals  carry only 1/16. These foals are suitable to be bred to any straight MFT or curly horse from the WPT lines.
Comanche's sire, Sir Patrick Maximum, was recently exported to Germany to carry on these lines there. Now that Comache has been gelded, his foals are the legacy for this bloodline in the USA
