CHAPTER 3
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to kill someone? What is it that drives one to such a point where murder, actually seems plausible? I know what it is, Ive experienced it, its not a desire, its a task, its a job that you must carry out. My name, is Nariko Moto, and I have killed someone. I am half-Japanese, and half-American. I have black choppy hair. I was a normal Japanese citizen back 3 years ago, but since then Ive become a whole other woman, you could say Ive even become a new person. You see, murder is only plausible when youve been to the lowest point of your life, when you cant seem to find the will to live, you understand how worthless one life really is. Unless of course that life is one you respect. You see I havent just killed someone, Ive killed my enemies, my nemesis, everyone who put such pain and fear into my life, just 3 years before. This is my story, learn it well, because it might just be a mirror image of what your life will become. You never can tell; who can you trust? And who would rather kill you than help you
CHAPTER 1
Japan was cold, and it was late. Late enough that the sun had retreated from the sky. A 26-year-old woman was walking home from the market. Her name was Nariko Moto. She was a chemist and was married; she had just given birth to a baby, 6 months ago. She couldnt wait to return home, to hold her baby, to kiss her husband. To live her wonderful life that she has been building for what seemed, the longest time. She wouldnt get to see her husband or baby that night, not alive anyway.
There was the ramp, leading up to her front door. The front door was wide open. Her husband had left it open again? He was so forgetful. She laughed at this thought and walked into the house, bags of food in her arms Its time to begin cooking dinner, come to the kitchen and help me Nariko screamed, loud enough so that it could be heard regardless where her husband was. She got no answer, he was in the bathroom. She sighed as she assumed this. Unpacking food onto the table she heard something she didnt usually hear. Footsteps of many men coming down the stairs, 4 or so, she turned to look, there was a man standing in the kitchen doorway now.
Nariko screams, loudly, panicking she runs to the corner of the kitchen. She calls for her husband, the man laughs as he raises his firearms towards her. Nariko screams, and turns her head. She clinches her teeth, knowing what is about to happen. A single tear crawls down her face. She was helpless. What had happened? Who where these men? Why where they in
Her thoughts stopped.
A shot was fired.
Narikos blood splashed against her kitchen wall, right where they had marked her height when she was a child, at age 7. Nariko was living in her family house, both parents dead of old age, her only sister lived across town in apartments.
Narikos blood ran down, past her 5 year old height marking, and her sisters sixth one. She was dead, or so the man thought, he left her there, the house was silent. Nariko was unconscious but still aware, the bullet had just nipped her brain, the man had been drinking and did not have very good aim. The lord had another plan for Nariko, but she wont follow it.
A woman walked past the kitchen door and glanced at Nariko as she passed. Wounded and dying, Nariko began to think again, who was this woman? Her face was burned inside her brain, the image of her face, the eyes and pretty lips. The police came, collected Narikos babies body, and they collected Nariko.
She lay in a hospital bed 2 years, in and out of a comma. Somehow in a depth of unconscious, drugged depression. Snooty nurses visited Nariko, she knew they had families safe at home. Nariko wanted to die, she cried so much when conscious, she felt that she drained her body of all fluids after crying so much.
But she knew that was impossible. She never could drain her body of the blood, she could feel it boiling in side her. Who had done this to her? Her baby was dead, her daughter was murdered before she would even comb her hair. The image of the women haunted Narikos dreams. Until the day, she left the hospital.
Im sure your family back home will be happy to see you! The front desk nurse said with a smile, she quickly looked back down after handing Nariko her medical papers.
That bitch would pay for that comment Nariko thought. She stood and stared at the nurse
Maam? The nurse titled her head Nariko cocked her head, a look of dissatisfaction owned her face. She had been through therapy to walk, and she had been lying in a bed for 2 years, she was pissed.
Nariko would get her revenge. Best served
COLD
Nariko walked outside, the street was cold, she had new clothes on, the hospital supplied them, they where ugly. She decided to get some new things, her money was still in the bank. Old money, money she had earned when her family was still alive.
Walking out of a clothing store Nariko began ripping her clothes off to replace them with the ones she had just bought, people gawked and gasped at her. She didnt care, she only had one thing on her mind right now. As she tied her shoes she looked up to see a pawnshops cheap neon lights flashing. Perfect. Inside where tons of weapons and cheap worn down jewelry. This place was not worth her time, as she began to walk out something caught her eye. An Aikuchi was under a glass counter, it looked interesting, and it looked painful. Narikos left hand grasped the shops door handle, and the right hand lay atop the glass counter. No one was around, they where probably working in the back.
Nariko busted the glass with her fist and grabbed the small dagger, an alarm rang as she fled from the store. Blood dripped from her knuckles; she was used to pain by now so it didnt bother her much. For some reason she felt she had left something at the hospital, something hadnt gotten done. Then she remembered
It was cold outside the hospital, and late. Nariko had waited outside, watching the door. Finally the nurse from the front desk walked out. Her purse over her shoulder, a coat thrown over her little white outfit. Narikos grip on the Aikuchi tightened, this was her first task that had to be completed after her return to the world outside her bed. Slowly, quietly, Nariko walked towards the nurse. Then ran in front of her, blocking her path
Excuse me? Nariko drew the dagger from its handle. She felt as if she had used it for years. Narikos rage seemed to guide the weapon. She rammed the daggers point threw the nurses side. The white little outfit slowly began to turn red. She let out a scream of pain as blood dripped from her mouth. Nariko smirked You had this coming After ripping the dagger out of her victims side, Nariko ripped her throat, quick and hard. Blood slashed the pavement, the nurses screams stopped as she fell forward, Nariko stepped aside. Using the pretty little white outfit Nariko cleaned her weapon. Slide it back into its holding place, and walked away. She had finished one job, the innocent nurse with a family was dead, and now she had to kill the man, that women whos face was burned inside her, and one other person.
CHAPTER 2 3 Weeks Later
Nariko drove down a thin road, the trees seemed to stare at her and the wind, telling her to turn back. She had nothing more to live for, to her, she was dead, only alive to get even. She began slowing down, her white sneakers pressed onto the break petal as she turned onto the side of the road. She had tracked the women down, her namewasnt important, only her life. As Nariko slowly walked toward the house, closer to the door an unfamiliar smell gripped the cold air. What was that?
Drawing her dagger Nariko walked into the house, she heard moaning, moans of pleasure; coming from the back of the house. Nariko walked down the hallway that lead into a large room, she could see people, but not the women.
The smell was upon her now, she entered the room. The moans of pleasure continued some. Others however stopped. As she scanned the room, looking for the women, she looked into all the darkened, tired eyes of the men and young girls in the room, she started panicking. Where was the bitch that killed her family? Was this the wrong house? Could she have?
Again Narikos thoughts stopped. She stared into the eyes of the woman she had seen 3 years ago, in her house. The woman stared back at Nariko, her mouth already open from prior activity. Four of the six men in the room naked, including the one sitting in front of the woman. The other 2 men had needles in their arms, and all the young girls who couldnt be but 17 where naked also, except for socks, they still had their socks on. Hmm... Nariko stared at the woman. Her black hair was pulled back tightly and her eyes showed confusion and distrust. The woman raised her arm up from the mans leg, pointing at Nariko
Y-You? Her arm shaking
STAND UP! Nariko screamed, lifting her weapon.
The woman stood, she was naked, and staring at Nariko as if she where a ghost. Walk out of the house Nariko said as she pointed her weapon in the womens direction. She slowly began walking out of the room, stepping over heroine needles and couples, their bodies in-twined like barbed wire.
After the woman exited the room Nariko looked at a man with a needle buried into his skin. Give me the needle He hesitated, looking down. Nariko stabbed down, cutting through his leg. His neck arched back as he screamed with pain. She ripped the needle form his arm and followed the woman as she walked as instructed.
She was outside now and turned to face Nariko. How are you alive?
Thats not important, do not worry about my life. Worry about your own. The woman looked down.
Why did you kill my family, who where all those men? And who the fuck was the man who tried to kill me?
The woman hesitated.
Answer meor I will stab you in the neck, with these needles you love so much. Nariko raised the needle
We picked a random family. We did not know. We are so sorry.
Who do you speak for? Why?
We picked man who was having affair, and then we go to his house. We follow him upstairs and watch you leave. Thats when we entered his house and
No, you entered my house The woman was interrupted but continued
The man having an affair, we decide to and leave you alive but you have baby. So we
You what?
We throw baby on the floorhard, three times... The women started crying
Until it did not cry anymore The woman was weeping now
Nariko was disgusting... She lowered the needle. Well, from what I asked you earlier, you still have to tell me who that man was
Hes my brotherhes. hes in the back yard
Nariko smirked WellIm afraid I dont have anymore questions for you. Thats veryvery bad.
The woman looked down. Nariko jabbed at her with the needle. Ripping into her left breast. The woman turned around screaming in pain, she tried to pull the needle from her flesh. Crying; she stumbled around the yard. She stopped for a moment to try and get the needle out, her back was turned to Nariko as she looked down, gripping the needle. Nariko slashed across the womans back. Aaahh-ah-aaahh The womans limbs and neck arched back as she fell backwards into the ground, under Narikos legs. Nariko stepped back and crouched. She wiped the womans hair from her face, as blood poured from her mouth. Nariko cut across the womans throat, decapitating her.
CHAPTER 3
She carried the butchered head as she marched into the back out of the house, to the garden and pool. She turned the edge of the house. Nariko dropped the womans head as she gasped
She couldnt breathe. It was as if her lungs wouldnt allow it. She was frozen, staring at what she thought she would never see again.
There was her husband, there was a woman, and there was the man who had shot her
Nariko screamed in agony, dropping her dagger onto the ground. She began to cry hysterically. The two men and the woman turned to her. Her husband; shocked
Nariko?!!
Narikos pain quickly turned to rage. She picked up the Aikuchi and ran toward them, screaming; what had they done with her baby? They where in bathing suits and sitting on the edge of a pool. They began retreating, trying to get into the house, probably to find stashed weapons. As they ran up the stairs which lead to the back door of the elevated house. Nariko slashed at the womans ankles. She cried out as she fell down the stairs. Blood running from her feet. Nariko reached for the man who had shot her as he tried to enter the back door. Grabbing his shoulder length black hair, she pulled him back and slit his throat. He grabbed his neck; screaming as he fell onto the back porch; stained with blood. Nariko ran on.
She ran toward her husband as he fled through the house. Finally he ran into a room where she could corner him.
They where both breathing heavy now, staring into each other eyes.
You are alive and having a party with the murders of my baby Nariko stared at her husband; raising the dagger.
INariko I wanted a new life.
SO YOU KILL OUR BABYTRY TO KILL ME?
I wanted a better life, with Sakura...
Is that the bitches name? Why didnt you get a divorce like A NORMAL FUCKING COUPLE WOULD?!
Because Im not that person
You are crazyI thought they killed you! Nariko was weeping now.
Thats what we wanted the cops to think yes, but I never thought you would live.
Obviously not, but that better life is now gone, soon you and Sakura will be dead
You deserve to take my life Nariko, but I beg of you leave Sakura
Heh Nariko laughed under her breath.
Do you really expect me to show you mercy?
Her husband looked down.
Nariko walked towards himher dagger drawn. He was defenseless.
Millions of thoughts raced towards Narikos mind. She had finally decided.
Now, I will do what needs to be done
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to kill someone? What is it that drives one to such a point where murder, actually seems plausible? I know what it is, Ive experienced it, its not a desire, its a task, its a job that you must carry out. My name, is Nariko Moto, and I have killed someone. I am half Japanese, and American. This is my story
Nariko slashed the small sword down into her gut. She grunted, the pain was unbearable. It was as if fire was shot through each and every vein in her body. She stared into her husbands eyes as she fell onto her knees.
Nariko Moto was dead. |
