Strain Information & Descriptions:
Note: I am not allowed to sell anything off of this webpage, please do not contact me about purchasing bettas from me. Also note that these strain names are mine, you can not use them as your own strain names. If however, you were using your strain names first, please email me with some sort of proof(webpage or something)and I'll gladly think up another name. But keep in mind that I came up with these strain names on April 17, 2005. I have the file on my hard drive to prove it. *smile*
Bold indicates the strain name. The tails I will mostly work with will be: crown tails, delta tails and plakats. After I am settled in in my own house, I will put forth the extra effort required for halfmoons. Photo's will be added, as the strain is developed.
Strain names are as follows and can have any type of tails, the names are the same regardless of the tails:
1. Thai-Dai Strain: multi-colored fish in unique patterns. Must have more than 2 colors to be considered Thai-Dai�s, but not red, white and blues.
2. Liberty Strain: red, white and blue�s.
3. Garnet Strain: solid pink-red�s.
4. Fire & Ice Strain: red and white�s.
5. Blaze Strain: 2 colors, one color taking up over half of the body and/or fins. So the second color is like a blaze on the fish.
6. Diamond Ice Strain: solid white�s, either opaque or iridescent.
7. Onyx Strain: opaque blacks.
8. Sapphyre Ice Strain: steel blue and white�s.
9. Ivy Strain: common greens and true greens, possibly with black or red.
10. Huong Yahto Strain: means pink (Vietnamese) blue (American Indian:Sioux),
11. Phantom Quartz Strain: gray and white strain.
12. Aqua Aura Strain: turquoise with or without another color.
13. Lapis Strain: royal blue with or without another color.
14. Aurora Strain: Mustard gas. Named after the Roman Goddess of Dawn. Will be yellow & blue with or without white.
15. Hespera Strain: named after the Roman Goddess of Dusk. Saved for the bronze or copper strains.
16. Black Widow Strain: black and red strain.
17. Sahara Strain: Purple Gas.
18. Black Gold Strain: black and gold strain.
19. Domino Strain: black and white strain.
20. Rose Quartz Strain: pinkish-white or pink and white strain.
21. Muddy River Strain: Chocolate strain, with or without yellow.
22. Creamsicle Strain: Orange with or without opaque.
