Yesterday I released my female and let her and Aidan get to know each other without the plastic canvas in the way. So far, nothing. His bubblenest is totally gone now. I'm thinking the female did not like it and is making him construct a new one. So far, she is ignoring him, until he confronts her and flares at her. Then she puts her head down in submission. So far they are getting along well; no nips in her fins, no nips in his fins. I plan on leaving them together for as long as they are getting along. After a week, if there is still nothing, I will seperate them and re-condition them and try again.
