| Hillbilly Livestock Kikos |
| Welcome to to Hillbilly Livestock, located in Northwest Georgia. Pure bred Kiko and Kiko-cross meat goats are available here. Why Kiko? Low input. Good yeild. The hardiness of the Kiko breed has proven itself here on the farm and in university trials resulting in faster growth with minimum feed and labor. The does take care of the kids, parasite resistance is superior, and hoof maintenance is minimal. Performance data. What is it and why is it important? The Kiko is a meat producing animal. The sooner they reach market weight the more desireable the carcass and the sooner they can be sold. Kids are weighed at birth and at 90 days. At Hillbilly Livestock those in the bottom 20% of average daily gains (ADG) go to slaughter: what ever the pedigree. Those does in the top 10% ADG stay in the breeding program: whatever the pedigree. The rest are offered to you for sale. This management strategie means that all the animals offered for sale, whether registered or commercial, are the best there is to offer. Experience the Kiko advantage. July 08 doelings are weaned now. Call or e-mail for more information. |
