There are two different types of killer which are played at the Men's Pool Practice. The one involving cards can be found here. All the games for killer are payed for out of the entry fee (typically 20p). The usual one has the following rules:-
1. Names are written on a sheet of paper and the order is denoted by that list. 2. Each player is given a set amount of lives (either two or three) and is out when all lives are gone. 3. If you fail to pot then you lose a life. 4. If you pot two balls legally on any one shot then you gain a life. 5. Potting two balls on a shot but also fouling results in the gain of a life but also a loss of a life, therefore no change. 6. After a foul, the cue ball may be picked up and treated as a standed foul with only one shot. 7. Black ball goes last and cannot be directly played into out of turn. 7. When the black has been potted legally the game is re-racked but the cue-ball cannot be moved unless it is blocking the rack. |
