Roland was taking us hiking.  The train schedule was a little off because something, maybe a tree fell on the tracks.  So we had to adjust our trains.

We took the train to Boxhill.  It was gray and misty.  I guess that is normal for this place.  It was still a nice hike.  We had to do a little climbing, which was good because  I am really out of hiking shape.  I was huffing and puffing my way up.

We stopped at a pub for lunch and then continued our hike.  We finished about 3:50.  It was a really nice hike.  We waited for the train to take us back to London.

We said goodbye to Roland at Victoria Station.  He had to take the Tube on a different line.  We went to Kevin's.  I worked on the cross-stitch that I bought in York.

Laurie and I organized our packs and boxed up stuff to be shipped home.  Thank goodness I don't have to carry it all.  As it is, I am having a hard time fitting everything.

We met Stuart at 5:00 at the Liverpool Street McDonalds.  Stuart is one of the guys we met doing the Coast-to-Coast.  He didn't know if Mike would show up later.  Roland showed up.  I gave him the information yesterday incase he wanted to join us.  Mike also showed up.  It was great seeing and visiting with them. Mike and Stuart are very funny, especially together.  We actually talked about doing a two week hike with Paul, the other Coast-to-Coast hiker from Australia, and maybe Pete would also join us.

We stayed a lot longer than I planned.  We left about 8:00.  We had to get back to Kevin's, finish up packing, and go to bed.  We were leaving Kevin's about 5:20 am.  It has been a long time since I have had to get up that early.
