I will have to let you know how I liked it.

The train ride on the sleeper train was different.  First of all, it was a mad rush trying to get in the train.  We had to find our sleeping compartment.  The aisle was very narrow and there were people  going in from outside with all of their luggage and backpacks.  It was quite difficult to move.  We found our compartment and someone was in one of our beds.  He appeared to be sleeping.  We just took one of the other empty beds.  There are six beds, three on each side, stacked like bunks.  I was on the left in the middle bunk.  There was very little space for my bag.  I just stuck it by the stairs to the bunk.  I crawled in the bunk.  I mean I really had to crawl.  There was very little room between my bunk and the one above me.  I layed down just waiting for everyone to settle in.  I then tried to make my bed and get changed in my little space.  Once I got settled it wasn't so bad.  The window was open for fresh air, but I then could hear the train more.  I got use to the noise and the movement of the train and went to sleep.

Laurie's alarm went off and then mine.  It was about 5:00 a.m.  The train conductor came to wake us up, but we were up by then.  I was tired and my pack felt heavy.  We were in Berlin about 5:35 a.m.
