When we got back to San Sebastian we did our usual - read our books, slept and wrote notes. A little before 8PM we left to go to the new address for the hiking club. The woman at the desk didn't speak English but a fellow, Jon, heard us talking to her and started talking to us about hiking around San Sebastian. He is a guide and is paid by various towns to lead hikes in the area. He is leading one Sunday that we would really like to on, but we don't think there is any bus service from Aia on Sunday. He said to call him on Saturday night and he may be able to come pick us up in Aia on Sunday morning. It costs 6 euros to go on the hike, and Jon thinks it will take about 7 hours. I hope we will be able to go on it. After we left the hiking club about 8:30, we walked back to the old town and went to dinner. The place where we ate the other night was closed, so we tried another resataurant, which was a much better place. I had a terific sandwich with broiled chicken, fried onions, roasted red peppers, tomatoes and melted havarti cheese. A real treat. We got back to the room about 10PM and I read until 11PM.
