| 10/09: We decided there was nothing much to do in Arles, and we weren't sure about Montpellier, so we decided just to go to Barcelona and stay in a hostel for three nights until we moved into the school on Sunday. We checked out of our hotel, and then went to the other hotel in Arles to let the manager know we would not be staying there, and then we walked to the train station. We got the 10AM train to Narvonne and got there about noon. Then we got the 12:30 train to Perpignan, waited about 20 minutes there and then went on to Portbou. At Portbou, we had to get off the French train, show our passports to the guards, and then board a Spanish train for Barcelona. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
