Modifying the end of MRE spoon to act as a butter knife or spreader.
Use a razor to trim away the outter edges and sand down to smooth out the burrs.
Don't cut away more than 3 inches of the end as this will weaken the plastic
You now have a lightweight spoon that can stir a community pot and be used to spread peanut butter or other spreads. Or just to have a 2-n-1 for yourself.
