| Kouga is a wolf demon. He is the head of a large pack. He met Inuyasha and the gang when his pack was feeding on a small village. Inuyasha and everyone else were fighting the wolves of Kouga's pack and Kouga sensed the danger they were in. He travelled in his whirlwind and got the surviving wolves out. He started fighting Inuyasha and Kagome saw the three jewel shards that he had in himself. He heard Kagome say that and he got an idea. At a later meeting, Kouga kidnaps Kagome because he wants her to find the leader of a demon bird pack that has a jewel shard in it. He doesn't want the shard, instead he wants to kill the bird so that his pack can be safe once again. He openly shares his affections for Kagome and treats her well. But we all know that someone else doesn't like this. Kouga will show up and help them search for Naraku every so often and when he talks to Kagome, Inuyasha gets all defensive. I guess you could say that the two of them have a healthy rivalry. |
