The legendary bell rang for the first time in the entire school year. This bell in particular had many urban legends associated with it, but he didn't know a single one of them. But then, it had been a long time since he was even in this city... It had been almost ten years now... But then, this senior high school was one of the better ones. Besides, he DID spend the first few years of his life in this place, so there was something special about this city, and this area. As expected at the start of the school year, many people had been scouring through the class lists, trying to find out where they were supposed to go in the near future. This was all perfectly natural of course, but just the same, he found the crowds slightly disconcerting, even for Tokyo, which had a tendency to be packed. With so many people, it was hard to find his way around... and really, he hadn't had a chance to see the list himself, so it looked like today he would have to play it by ear, and hopefully catch the listings tommorrow. Of course, the bell indicated that the school day had started, and on the first day, that meant one thing: a mad scramble for the auditorium, with most of the new people having no idea where they're going, other than the map placed on the class list. It also meant one other thing: All people that happened to be late now had to do a charge into the school, glance at the class list for a second, then head back to charging for the auditorium. Of course, as everyone knows, such things are destined to happen. He barely had enough time to dodge, as he heard one girl's charge in his general direction, obviously in too much of a hurry to pay attention to where she was going. In one quick movement, he managed to dodge her, evading any contact with the desperate late-comer. As she passed by, he took a quick glance at the recklessly charging maiden. Obviously, it's hard to make real judgements about a person when they're moving so quickly you can make out few real features, but one thing he did notice was her hair. Her hair was long, and the dark purple color of her hair seemed to flow so well it was almost magical... and strangely familiar. "I wonder if I met her when I was a kid or something?" Was what he meant to say to himself. Unfortunately, that was cut off by yet another person crashing into him. The two people seemed to rebound off of eachother, causing both to fall to the ground in opposite directions. "Itetetetetete! That hurt..." The person that crashed into him said, injured as said person was. As he got up, he decided to see what this person looked like as well. The crasher was a boy, probably about the same age as him, but who somehow looked younger than the average person of his age would be. The boy held a dark-green shade of hair, with it very carefully kept at a specific height. The boy's eyes held also held this shade of green, which he noticed as the boy stood up himself. Once the boy stood up, the boy looked like he was prepared to give him a tongue lashing, but suddenly noticed something more important. "Ah! Yuri! Where did you disappear off to?" The boy seemed almost panicked as he shouted this out, especially when he didn't get a response. After a moment to recollect himself, the boy muttered something along the lines of "probably already left to the auditorium", and disappeared after a millisecond of checking the map. He sighed. Yep, this was going to be one of those really messed up years... but eh, stuff like that wasn't TOO unusual... he simply had to work on his dodging skills a little, and pay more attention... and right now, follow the big crowd that leaving the area for the auditorium... Probably easier than checking the map and getting lost, he figured.
