Digimon Tamers?

The Characters:

Matsuda Takato:

The self-proclaimed "Greatest Digimon Tamer in the world", Takato's managed to get Bertran, Joy-Joy, Akira, and Ruki to try to kill him. Has an obsession with Juri, and frequently wishes he were the sock-puppet she drags around. His partner Digimon is Guilmon, a Digimon he created before he met Juri, meaning back when he was obsessed with Digimon instead.

Lee Jenrya:

Being the monster-attractor of the group, Jenrya somehow manages to have more people trying to kill him than even Takato, despite the fact that he doesn't annoy anyone one little bit. Despite all that, Jenrya is known for making very cool appearances. His partner Digimon is Terriermon, whom he brought to the real world from the latest American Digimon game.

Makino Ruki:

Easily the sanest one in the entire group, Ruki's known for being more than a little psychotic when she wants to be. Despises Takato with all her heart, and would like nothing more than to be able to spit in the socket of the eye that she would greatly like to pull out of the socket rip to shreds while Takato's single remaining eye watches. Her partner digimon is Renamon, which was brought to the real world after a bunch of Digimon figured out that Ruki was psychotic.

Bertran (surname unknown):

The self-proclaimed "Greatest Digimon Tamer in the world", Bertran has a rivalry with Takato. In fact, Bertran's tried to kill Takato several times. The fact that both Takato and Bertran are obsessed with red-heads that look just like eachother doesn't help things any, either. Despite only being self-proclaimed, Bertran has potential to become the greatest Digimon Tamer, having hundreds of Digimon to sacrifice for his goal. He doesn't have a D-Ark, but using his Digi-Beetle he can rain down hundreds of Ray-Bombs. Bertran doesn't have any true partner Digimon, though he seems to favor anything that can eventually evolve into Apocalymon.
