The Prophet salla allahu alahi wasallam said,
"There will be no land which will not be covered by ad-Dajjal except Makkah and Al-Madinah, and there will be no passage among the passages leading to them which would not be guarded by angels arranged in rows. Then he (ad-Dajjal) will appear in a barren place adjacent to Al-Madinah and it will rock three times so that every disbeliever and hypocrite will get out of it and head towards him."
