| Its perfect, Brian says as he stares at the green plant from the main window of control room. He always thought his mission was a wild goose chase. Never did he actually thought he would find a planet that would have the right elements to make habitable. It was like finding a needle in a haystack. Brian takes a few notes in his book, and then he looks down at Blake. Blake, drive as close as you can to the planet without being suck into the planets atmosphere. I want capture some better picture of the planet. Yes, Sir. Blake starts up the ships engine and begins to head closer to planet. Do you not want to land, Sir? Blake can feel his friends, Cody and Shane, shoot glances in his direction, but he ignores them. I mean to check out the planet before we report it. No, we cant land without permission. Brian turns his attention to Cody. Cody, have you send word back to H.C., yet? No. Well, what are you wanting for? Send a message back to headquarters with accordance of the planet. Cant, Sir. And why the hell not? It doesnt work. See. Cody pushes a button and nothing happens. I think is broken. You think? If wasnt one thing, it sure was another thing. God, they really have surround me with morons. The switch probably got knock off. It just needs someone to reset it. He stares at Cody waiting for him get up, but he doesnt. Well, what are you waiting for? Your the scientist, Mister Kinney, not I. I wouldnt know... Fuck, I really have to do everything myself, dont I? Brian yells at the three workers as they all avoid eye connect. Fine! Under his breath, he grumbles, Worthless Ratz. Cody grins as he watches Brian leave the control room. What an asshole, what a fool. So, are we really going to do this? asks a worried Blake. We have to, Shane replies. Our people are relying on us. Blake, you really want the fucking Goves to get their greedy hands on another planet, so they can place another group of elite to live long happy lives as we force to continue doing slave work for them?" Cody asks. "Why must our people have to always suffer? When it is us, who get our hands dirty. Its our sweat, our tears, and what do we get? A short mirsible live. Im tired it." explains. We will do this, and it will give us a chance to survie on our own terms. Well be free, Blake. Free! Cant you taste it? Shane says excitly. Man, well be heros. But we dont even know what is down there on that planet, says a worried Blake. Yes, we do. Its freedom. Shane cries. Blake looks at the motiotors watching Brian move his way towards the cargo bay. Its him or hundreds of thousands of our people, and it's not like anyone is going to miss the screw up asshole anyway, Cody snickers. The Goves will, Blake replies. Naw, that man fuck up something big, cauze a man like him doesnt belong scavenger hunt like this. Yup, I dont think the Goves had plan to hear back from him again. As soon as the door of cargo bay closed behind him with a click, Brian's heart skip a beat. He knew that click meant the Ratz had lock him in the room. They just messing with you, Brian, he says out loud to try to calm his nerves. They just want to get a reaction out of you. Fuck, the twat, Cody. I bet he knew how to do flip the bloody switch. I hate these little games. Brian reaches the fuse box, and open the lid. What the? The transmitter switch has been smashed in. It wasnt game, it was a trapt. Shit! Suddenly, a red light begins to flash as an alarm goes off. He has 120 seconds before he is going to suck out into space. Fuck! Brian looks around the room. He spies a golden space suit in the corner and rushes to it. Slipping on the suit as fast as he can as thought crosses his mind. Once he has the suit on, he runs to a cabinet and pulls out a suit case. He opens it to find a small transmitter beacon. Quickly pressing a code, he activates it just as the door begins to open. He run straight for the side of the opening door using suction to work with him. With one hand clinging onto the beacon, Brian reaches out for a bar on right side of the open flat door. He swings his hand with beacon onto outside door. The beacon sticks with a magnet force to the door. Then Brian tries to pulls himself over the outside of the ship with his free hand, but, before he can, Brian is stuck by a flying piece of debris which causes him to let go of the ship. He begins to spiral into to space. Fuck. Brian watches as his ship fly farther and farther away from him until he losing sight of it. Great, just great. He sigh, All this over a woman. He looks at his planet, his green planet. He is slowly getting closer to the planet. Brian wonders if he would die for the lack of oxygen, burning into flames as the planet consumes him, or maybe die at impact to the ground if his suit held through the green monsters atmosphere. He could do nothing but wait for death to come claim him. |
